After Part 1 and Part 2, here’s the third post dedicated to New York’s fashion week (and there are more to come). The truly devoted ones should know how I work, but for the newcomers here’s how I do it: A short word on what I think of the collection + pictures of my favorite looks, if I found any.
So let’s go and check this out !
Chadwick Bell
It’s the first time I check out this brand and all I can say is that there’s nothing really extraordinary about it, or at least about this collection, it lacks identity perhaps, but I somehow managed to find interesting stuff in there.

Charlotte Ronson
Sweet, fresh, delicate, with a discreet stylish touch, that’s exactly what girls should be looking for, basic stuff with some kind of twist. In brief: I liked it.
I have a thing for this last gown, it’s so original, yet still wearable.

Chris Benz
I just can’t talk about it, for unknown reasons. This collection simply doesn’t work for me…
You can still check it here.
Christian Cota
Also a discovery for me as I didn’t know him before, I have to say that it didn’t left me untouched. What’s great about this collection is that every woman can find something that’ll work for her, whether she’s edgy or classic.

Christian Siriano
And one more unknown-till-today designer for me, but I’ll have to say that this one marked me, particularly because of the quality of his work, the colours are impressive, and the cuts too, even though one may say that it lacks originality.
I love the t-shirts tucked in the skirt, I know it’s been already seen, I just like it.

Costello Tagliapietra
Oh my… I really feel uncultivated today… That’ll be the fourth brand I’ve never heard about ! Okay… It’s a bit dejà-vu, the cuts are very Lanvin-like but you just can’t label it as ‘’ugly’’ so I have to show you some designs, that every girl would like.
The colours are beautiful too !

Creatures of the Wind
What’s this name anyway ?
If you like ugly check this.
Cushnie et Ochs
I really loved the spirit of this collection, the geometric shapes, the technical prowess, it’s really original and creative, but in a way that can please the average woman and that’s what’s interesting.

Custo Barcelona
Or not.
Check it here.
Cynthia Rowley
I love, love the whole mood floating around these creations, I feel like every woman would look astonishing in them and feel as important as a fashion icon. The whole thing is absolutely awesome, keep these in mind ladies !
This my friends, is how ready-to-wear should work.

Cynthia Steffe
Not AMAZING, but these particularly stunned me, the way they are constructed is very beautiful and sensible.
I particularly love this last outfit.

Daryl K
Easy to do, easy to wear, it’s the kind of collection you love but doesn’t haunt you for weeks, or even days, (and maybe even hours). Yet it has it’s beauty and it’s charm. Note an interesting use of colours.

Dennis Basso
Good ideas, bad execution.
Check it here.
Derek Lam
I never heard of him until now, and all I can say is that he’s got a very interesting way of doing ready-to-wear. I love his cuts, and the way he uses his creativity to create basics with a touch of originality. He’s one to follow.

And that’s it for today ! I hope you’re enjoying these short reviews as much as I do, if not, or if you disagree on some point, simply let me know by commenting or by sending an e-mail.
See ya !
